Yesterday, deep underground mining was on the agenda when representatives from Boliden, LKAB, and the Chilean mining giant Codelco met together with Business Sweden and Swedish Mining Innovation to discuss different aspects of and exchange experiences on the topic. Many interesting areas were identified that will lead to deeper discussions in the future. The workshop is part of the collaboration agreement concluded in the end of last year between Codelco and Swedish Mining Innovation, which shall promote cooperation in sustainability, innovation and profitable mining and create conditions for further collaboration.
