The strategic innovation program SIP STRIM has instituted a new award, the SIP STRIM Swedish Mining Innovation Award. The award, which will be awarded on November 27, will award an innovation or other that has been of great importance to mining and innovation Sweden.
Now SIP STRIM goes out and asks for nominations for best mining innovation. Until September 15, it is possible to nominate an innovation, project, organization, person or other that has been of great importance to mining and innovation Sweden. A jury with representatives from Innovation Sweden will produce three finalists, and in the autumn these three innovations will be presented with each film. The jury then appoints the winner of the SIP STRIM Swedish Mining innovation Award at Svemin’s autumn meeting at Nalen in Stockholm on 27 November.
Our purpose with this award is to make Swedish mining innovation visible. We know that Sweden is at the forefront globally, and this is a great way to spread awareness of Swedish innovation nationally and internationally, “says Jenny Greberg, program director at SIP STRIM as well as the jury chair.
In addition to the honor and the trophy, the winner will receive a customized prize in the form of something that can boost or spread the innovation.
