Exploration is the first step for all mining operations and the start of a long value chain. Exploration drilling must be carried out so that the environment is affected as little as possible. The drilling industry’s training center (Borrbranschens utbildningscentrum) has now developed a qualified course “External Environment” which provides in-depth knowledge of how exploration drilling should be carried out in as good a manner as possible.
The drilling industry’s training center is a collaboration between the Association for those active in the drilling industry (Föreningen för aktiva i Borrbranschen), Svemin and the drilling companies, and the course is funded by Swedish Mining Innovation.
