On Thursday, February 15, SIP STRIM and EIT RawMaterials held the annual innovation idea competition, this time at the City Conference Center in Stockholm. Out of 25 applications, eleven companies had moved on to get the chance to pitch their innovation ideas to compete for two prizes of 600,000 SEK each.
The audience from the mining industry and mining-related business sector together with the jury were treated with interesting and innovative ideas. Representatives from EIT RawMaterials and SIP STRIM also reported on their activities and how to apply for and obtain funds from their respective organisations.
The pitching ideas of this year were of very high quality and the jury had a delicate task to select the two winners.
