STRIM Graduate school

Purpose and goal

The project has initiated the work in establishing a Graduate School connected to the Strategic Innovation Program for the Swedish Mining and Metal producing Industry. A large number of PhD- students showed interest and the first year for the School was started.

Expected results and effects

The graduate school has started and has been outlined. The arrangement with focus on networking suited the participants and is closely connected to other activities within the area. The activities decided, such as seminaries, are also complementary to the other activities within the innovation program.

Planned approach and implementation

The Project arrangement has been tested and verified and appears to be sucessful. A focus on networking with clear course parts and thematic seminars linked to the mining and metal producing industry seems to be a good way forward. Next step in the School is planned and documented to be continued.
