Pre-study

Project application

  • Application is made via Vinnova’s portal
  • Project summary sent to the program office (Template, see Vinnova’s portal)

Projects is granted and started

  • Start report is sent to Vinnova
  • The document “Project description and summary of results” is sent to the program office (see Templates)

Ongoing during the project

  • During the project and when the project is completed, you are expected to present the project on request at Swedish Mining Innovation’s annual Program Day and Swedish Mining Research and Innovation Day
  • During the project, the project leader must inform the program office of any dissemination activities, so that the program can spread and communicate further
  • In dialogue with the program office be helpful in preparing materials to be disseminated by the program office.

Project ends

  • Final report to Vinnova in Vinnova’s portal
  • The document “Project description and summary of results” is updated and sent to the program office no later than the date for the project end (see Templates)
  • Project leader participates in final interview about results, continued work, etc.
  • Project leader and participants respond to a survey from Swedish Mining Innovation

After the project has been completed, you are expected to present the project on request at Swedish Mining Innovation’s annual program day and Swedish Mining Research and Innovation Day.

  • Start-up meeting with project leader and Swedish Mining Innovation
    Purpose
    – Swedish Mining Innovation informs about what is expected of the projects map performance monitoring and communication in addition to Vinnova’s formal requirements
    – The project answers a number of questions about expected results and effects (according to the program’s Effect Logic)
    – Swedish Mining Innovation describes how we want to spread/communicate the projects, continuously and at the end of the project

  • January 15 each year, the document “Project description and summary of results” is updated and sent to the program office (see Templates)

Summary communication

  • In all communication about the project and results from the project, it must be clear that it is run or has been run within the strategic innovation program Swedish Mining Innovation, which is a joint venture by Vinnova, Formas and the Swedish Energy Agency.
  • For printed material, presentations, etc. where logos are applicable, the program’s logo and the financiers’ logo must be included.
  • During the project, the document “Project description and summary of results” must be updated according to routine. Information in the document forms, among other things, a basis for project information on the web and a project brochure.

From Vinnova’s general terms and conditions for grants

  • The project must be represented by at least one project partner at conferences and other activities organized within Swedish Mining Innovation.
  • At each publication of project results, it must be stated that the work has been carried out within the strategic innovation program Swedish Mining Innovation, a joint venture by Vinnova, Formas and the Swedish Energy Agency (eg publication regardless of medium and oral presentations).
  • The project is part of the strategic innovation program Swedish Mining Innovation and will collaborate with the programme’s program office in the implementation.
